Woojin Kim

Woojin Kim is a Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research in the Aging and Health Program and a PhD Candidate at UC Berkeley specializing in behavioral economics and political economy. His research explores the barriers to the adoption of evidence in government, the diffusion of policies across U.S. states, the motives and effects of peer pressure in voter mobilization, and the historic role of television in American consumer culture. His ongoing work includes an empirical investigation into the recent political polarization of medical practice in the U.S.
