Laura Schwartz

Laura Schwartz is a Research Associate at The People Lab where she supports a variety of research projects exploring mechanisms to strengthen the government workforce and citizen-government interactions. Prior to joining The People Lab, she served as the Program Manager of William & Mary’s Digital Inclusion & Governance Lab. She also completed a Fulbright Research Grant in Kenya, where she studied smallholder farmers’ use of weather index crop insurance as a climate change risk mitigation tool. She is experienced in program evaluation, having conducted impact evaluations of sport-for-development academies in Liberia and Morocco. She holds a B.A. in International Relations and a minor in Economics from the College of William & Mary.
