Laura Bundgaard

Laura Bundgaard is a PhD student in Political Science at Aarhus University and a Visiting Research Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School. Her research examines how public professionals perceive the relationship between their professional norms and the institutional conditions under which they work. In particular, she studies situations in which professionals perceive a misalignment between the two – a phenomenon termed professional dissonance. Laura is excited to join The People Lab this fall and engage with the team around questions related to public management, public service delivery, and frontline work.

Prior to starting her PhD, Laura worked as a consultant at the King Frederik Center for Public Leadership in Denmark, where she facilitated organizational development programs for managers and employees in public organizations as part of a large-scale field experiment. She holds an MA and a BA in Political Science from Aarhus University.
