
Karalyn Lacey
Doctoral Research Fellow
Karalyn Lacey is a PhD student in Public Administration and Leadership in the Political Science Department at Aarhus University. Prior to starting the PhD program Karalyn was the Executive Director of The People Lab working with the Lab’s Faculty Director to manage the Lab’s daily operations, staff, strategic direction, partnerships, and research portfolio. She is excited to continue to be connected to The People Lab during this new chapter in an advisory capacity and as a Doctoral Research Fellow. Karalyn has over ten years of experience conducting and supporting research to inform, implement and evaluate state and local government programs. Before joining The People Lab she was a Senior Program Manager at Alliance for Safety and Justice working to improve the criminal justice system through sentencing reform, crime survivor advocacy and advancing new safety priorities. She holds a B.A. in Economics from UC Berkeley and a MSc in Evidence Based Social Intervention and Policy Evaluation from Oxford University.
