Josephine Arnfred

Josephine Arnfred is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Copenhagen and a Visiting Scholar at The People Lab. Her project investigates the underrepresentation of women and minorities in public management. She is finalizing experimental articles on female role models, gender norms, and public perceptions of gender representation, as well as support for related policies such as paternity leave and affirmative action. She makes use of both large-scale personnel data and international survey experiments to examine how career pipelines and public perceptions influence access to top-level management roles. She holds a B.A. and M.Sc. in Political Science from the University of Copenhagen.
