Jonora Calixte

Jonora Calixte is an undergraduate research fellow at The People Lab and a junior at Howard University where she is double majoring in Psychology & Criminology. Jonora has a profound interest in studying impacts of law, policy, and socialization on psychological and behavioral health. Her career goal is to provide mental health care specializing in marginalized communities, individuals with severe mental illness, and individuals affected by the criminal justice system. Upon completion of her undergraduate studies, Jonora plans to apply to graduate school and continue her education while progressing towards becoming a licensed mental healthcare provider.
